St. Patrick's Day Cards

After a long week of work and laryngitis (not a good combination when working with preschoolers) I finally got a chance to finish my St. Patrick's Day cards on Friday. Yeah for some much needed craft therapy time after that long week!

I absolutely love these rainbows! I know the lines of glitter aren't very clean, but I'm okay with that! The more glitter the better!

The card on the right is my card from last weekend that I thew together and the one on the left is a neater version with some added glitter on the shamrock that was inspired by Robyn!

That couple of hours on Friday held me threw the weekend of housework pretty well... I was feeling so abitious today that I cleaned and oiled all of the kitchen cabinets, then convinced my wonderful husband that today was the day to go buy and install the new range hood that we've needed for a couple of years now! We went, we bought, and he installed, even after spending the whole day Saturday leveling out our back yard! While were at HD we even bought new vinyl flooring for the kitchen; it was definitely a productive weekend here at our house!

I've got a couple of other scrappy projects that I've been working on that will have to wait for another night!

Crafty "Ladies Night In"

Tonight I'm hosting a crafty ladies night in at my house. I know quite a few crafty ladies but with most of them (including myself) having multiple children there's very seldom a time to get together for some producive crafting time, so instead of going out for a drink together and spending money... I thought that ladies night would be just as much (if not more) fun if it's doing what I really love... PAPER CRAFTING!

A preview of 1 of atleast 3 projects that we'll be working on tonight at my "Crafty Ladies Night In."

Supplies: All supplies are Stampin Up unless otherwise noted. Craft cardstock, modern label punch, scallop oval punch, Teeny Tiny Wishes, white gel pen, glorious green stampin write marker, glorious green cardstock, DCWV metallic card stock stack, rhinestone (wal-mart)

Happy Valentine's Day!

A little late as usual, but I hope that everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We took the kids to the Seattle Science Center this morning and then spent a couple of hours at Ikea shopping for office furniture for Alex.

Here's a couple of projects that I made last week with my Cricut, inspired by Melissa at The Polka Dot Chair.

For Michele, for providing me the link to The Polka Dot Chair!

A Valentine's gift for my wonderful MIL!

My first post!

Where to start....

Well, I can't believe that I'm finally getting around to starting my own blog! I've been collecting scrapbooking supplies for about 7 years, but I've only been creating on a regular basis for about 1 year! The time has finally come so save my Facebook friends from my crafty photos. I think I post pictures of my crafts more than pictures of our family.

Last week I finally, after several attempts, came up with a ribbon storage system that I LOVE! I used chipboard that I purchased at the comic book store last year along with my 3/4" square punch and made storage card to fit in my photo storage boxes. I have at least 100 rolls of ribbon in this box! I couldn't be happier! I'd love to know what you think!

The End!
